Your AI: answers in Ask your shop and Your week

How Ask your shop passes the questions its own list does not read to your AI, the "Based on" line, the free questions a day and why an answer may not come, and Your week, the Monday voice note about last week.

Coming soon: answers by your AI and Your week are not switched on yet. Until then, Ask your shop answers the questions on its own list, with fixed rules and exact figures.

Ask your shop answers its own list of questions with fixed rules. With your AI it also answers any other question about the shop, by reading the shop's own reports. Your week uses the same AI to write a one-minute voice note about last week, every Monday morning. Both are in CreekPOS Online; the desktop program does not have them.

Ask your shop and your AI

Ask where you always do: Reports → Ask your shop, the Ask box on the dashboard, the Ask box of the till app, or the shop's Telegram bot (see Asking in Telegram).

  • A question from the list (sales today, sales by cashier this week, best sellers this month, what is running low, who owes me, cash in the drawer, receipt 1024, price of rice…) is answered as before: fixed rules read it and the server computes every number. No AI is used and nothing is counted. See Ask your shop.
  • Any other question goes to your AI. For example: "How did this week go compared with last week?", "Which products made the most profit this month?", "Who is in today?". Your AI looks the figures up in the shop's own reports and writes a short answer in the language you asked in.

Your AI works as the person asking: it uses read-only tools with that person's rights and branch, so it sees exactly what the back office shows them. A cashier without the reports right gets no sales figures; a manager of one branch sees that branch. It only reads: it cannot sell, refund, take a payment or change a price or a setting.

The "Based on" line

Under every answer from your AI, a line names the reports it read, with the period or the thing it looked up, for example Based on: sales report (7 Oct) · low stock. Under it the page says Answered by your AI from the shop's own reports — check the figures on the reports pages before you act on them.

Your AI is told to take every figure from a report and never to guess one. Still, before you order stock, change a price or speak to a cashier about a figure, open the report the "Based on" line names and check it there.

Free questions and when your AI does not answer

Your AI answers a number of free questions a day for the whole shop, counted on the shop's own day:

PlanFree questions a day
Retail20
Restaurant50
Chain100
The 14-day trial20

Questions answered from the fixed list are not counted. When your AI writes Your week, that counts as one question.

When your AI does not answer, you get the usual help with example questions and buttons, and one line first that says why:

  • Not set up: your AI is not set up for this shop yet.
  • Not in your plan: your plan does not include free questions to your AI.
  • The day's questions are used up: ask again tomorrow, or use a question from the list.
  • Too fast: one person asked several questions within a minute; ask again after the seconds it shows. A question stopped this way is not counted.
  • Busy: your AI could not answer in time this once; ask again in a minute.

The Your AI card. As the owner, open Settings → Owner alerts: the Your AI card says whether your AI is on for the shop or not in your plan, and how many questions it answered, for example Free questions answered by your AI: 3 of 50 today · 41 this month.

Privacy. A question the fixed list cannot answer is sent, with only the report rows needed to answer it, to Anthropic (the maker of Claude) over an encrypted connection; it is not used to train their models. Customers' names and phone numbers are sent only when the question is about a customer and the person asking may see customers' accounts. We keep the question, who asked and the usage figures for 30 days; the answer is not kept. A shop without your AI sends nothing. The card links to the privacy policy with the details.

Your week

Your week is a spoken summary of last week, about one minute long, in your language.

  1. Make sure owner alerts are on (see Switching on).
  2. As the owner, open Settings → Owner alerts and tick Send me "Your week". It is off until you tick it.
  3. Press Save.

The note is made on Monday from 08:00 shop time and covers Monday to Sunday of last week. If 08:00 falls inside your quiet hours, it waits until they end. It comes once a week. To hear it at once, for example right after switching it on, the owner presses Make last week's note now on the Your week card.

What it says

  • sales against the week before, the number of receipts and the average receipt;
  • the best day and the top three products;
  • cash, card and other payments, returns and discounts;
  • the products running low and the value of slow stock at cost;
  • the team's hours worked when attendance is on, and the bookings served when Bookings is on;
  • one suggested action.

When your AI is set up for the shop, your AI writes the note from these figures. Otherwise (no AI, not in your plan, the day's questions used up, or no answer in time) a plain template says the same figures and picks the action itself: low stock first, then slow stock, then a drop in sales of 5 % or more, else keep the top seller in stock. The card says which one made the note: Written by your AI from the shop's own reports — check the figures on the reports pages before you act on them, or Made from the shop's own numbers.

Where it arrives

The note goes on the channels you chose for owner alerts:

ChannelWhat you get
The Owner alerts page (always)The Your week card at the top: the dates, who wrote it, a player, Download the audio, the words, Share on WhatsApp and, for the owner, Make last week's note now
Telegram (Restaurant plan or higher, with the shop's bot set)A voice message from the shop's bot, with a link to the words on the Owner alerts page
E-mailThe words and a button to the Owner alerts page
WhatsAppNo automatic message: Share on WhatsApp on the card opens WhatsApp with the words and the page's link (the audio itself cannot travel that way)

If the voice could not be made one week, you get the words alone. Managers see the card only when the owner lets managers see owner alerts.

The words hold totals, product names and counts, never a customer. They are read aloud by a text-to-speech service; with your AI on, the figures go to your AI first, as one of the day's questions. We keep the words for 400 days and the audio in your account's file storage (it counts in your plan's storage); both are deleted with the account.
