A day in the shop

An order at a tailor's, from measuring to collection

With job orders switched on and the Tailoring template.

  1. 10:00

Khalid orders two kanduras. The cashier finds him by phone number; his measurement set from last year opens, and the tailor updates the length.

  2. 10:05

The fabric comes from the shop's stock, so that line sells from stock; the stitching is an open-priced line. Style notes: the collar and two pockets. Fitting in 5 days, ready in 9.

  3. 10:07

Khalid leaves a deposit. The till prints his numbered ticket with a QR and the shop copy.

  4. Day 5

The job waits under Fitting. After the fitting, the tailor taps In progress.

  5. Day 9

Ready: Khalid gets the e-mail, or the WhatsApp message the cashier sends, and his QR page shows what is left to pay.

  6. Collection

He pays the rest at the till. The deposit is used first and the normal tax invoice prints.
