Trials, packages and activation
The 7-day trial of the program and the 14-day trial of CreekPOS Online, the four packages, the machine code (CP-…), activation keys, extension codes and moving a licence to a new PC.
The program on the PC is bought once per register PC and unlocked with an activation key. CreekPOS Online is a subscription and needs no key. This chapter covers both.

Setting the PC clock back does not give back trial days.
During the program's trial, Settings → License shows Trial copy — n days left. Nothing you do in the trial is lost when you activate: products, sales and settings stay as they are.
When the trial ends
The program shows the full-screen Activate the program window with The trial has ended. Please activate to continue. It also checks before every sale, so it can stop in the middle of a day. Your data is safe: activate and carry on, or press Exit.
Extending the trial
If you need a few more days to decide, ask us on WhatsApp. We send an extension code that looks like EXT-XXXX-XXXX and works on your PC only.
- On the activation window press I have an extension code.
- Type the code in Extension code and press Activate the extension. The PC must be online.
- The message says how many days were added and the new last day.
An extension code must be used within 7 days of being sent, and each code works once.
The packages
The program has four packages. Each includes everything in the one before it.

To upgrade, you pay the difference and enter a new key on the same PC. Your data stays as it is.
Activating the program
Every PC has its own machine code. It looks like CP-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and is worked out from the PC itself, so it never changes on the same PC. The activation key is made for that code and works only there.
Buying online
- On the Pricing page press Buy now under the package. It opens
app.creekpos.com/buy. - Type your name, mobile (WhatsApp) and e-mail. If you have the program installed, paste its machine code too (it starts with CP).
- Pay by card. The page says Paid — thank you!.
- We e-mail you the download link and either your activation key (if you gave the machine code) or an activation link. On the activation page paste the machine code, press Get the key and copy the key.
Entering the key
- Open Settings (F10) → License → Activate / enter key… (or the activation window at the end of the trial).
- The machine code is shown with Copy the code and Send the code on WhatsApp. You need it only if you do not have a key yet.
- Type or paste the key in Activation key: and press Activate. Capitals and dashes do not matter.
- Activated successfully. The License tab now says Activated — and the package name.
If you see The key is not valid for this machine., the key was made for another machine code. Send us the code shown on this PC.
Platinum covers two register PCs: each PC sends its own machine code and receives its own key.
Moving the licence to a new PC
A key belongs to one PC. To move it (a new PC, a repair, a new Windows):
- Back up the old PC first: Backups.
- On the old PC open Settings → License and press Release the license to move it to another PC. Confirm. A release code (
RL-…) appears and is copied for you. That PC stops selling. - Install CreekPOS on the new PC and copy its machine code.
- Send us both codes on WhatsApp. We reply with the new key.
- Activate the new PC and restore the backup.
If the old PC is dead and cannot show a release code, write to us anyway with the new machine code and the details of your purchase.
CreekPOS Online plans
CreekPOS Online has three plans: Retail, Restaurant and Chain. They are paid monthly, or yearly (12 months for the price of 10). The plan, the trial, payment and invoices are explained in CreekPOS Online → Plans and billing. The launch offer LAUNCH25 (25 % off the first 12 paid months, and off the program's price) is applied automatically while it runs (until 13 November 2026); you never type it.
