Smart stock

Stock that protects your margin

Available now in CreekPOS Online

Start with 29,000 products from the UAE catalogue, keep costs current from your suppliers' price lists, see the margin you lose the moment a cost goes up, and find the money sitting on shelves that do not sell. Plain arithmetic on your own figures, with the action beside every line.

On every online plan; branch moves need two or more branches. The cost-rise warning and slow stock are in the desktop program from Silver.

  • Slow stock with an action on every line

01Catalogue

29,274 products ready to add

Scan a barcode or type a name and choose “Add from the catalogue”: the name, the category and the picture come in, and you set your price. The UAE catalogue holds products sold in the Gulf: 7,029 found in the UAE, the rest sold in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.

  • 23,485 products with a picture
  • Arabic names for about half, many machine-translated: check them before printing
  • Your products stay yours: nothing of your list goes back into the catalogue

02Price lists

A supplier's price list from a photo

Photograph the supplier's monthly price sheet, or upload the PDF. The AI invoice reader reads every row, matches it to your products, works out the cost per piece from the carton, and shows the change, your margin before and after, and the price that keeps it. Tick what to apply: the costs are written, and the prices you ticked.

  • The list becomes the supplier's latest: purchase orders start from its costs
  • Receiving warns only when a delivery's cost differs from the list
  • A list older than 60 days shows “may be stale”
  • Each page is one reading of the AI invoice reader, which is in pilot: ask us to switch it on

03Cost rises

See the margin you lose when a cost goes up

When a delivery's cost is 10 % or more above the last one, the receiving line says it plainly: cost was 10.00, now 12.00 (+20 %); margin now 20 % at 15.00 (was 33.3 %); a price of 18.00 keeps 33.3 %. Apply it with one tap, or keep your price: your choice.

  • Margins are worked out on the price without VAT
  • The suggested price is rounded up to AED 0.05
  • Set your own threshold, and a margin floor that lists every “squeezed” product
  • An owner alert and a line in the daily summary for squeezed margins

04Slow stock

Find the money sitting on the shelf

Every product with stock and no sale for 45 days (your choice, 7 to 365), the money it holds at cost, the last sale, and what to do about it. A dashboard tile, a page you can export, the list in Monday's summary e-mail and an owner alert once a week.

  • Discount it, when the price leaves room
  • Bundle it, when you hold three or more
  • Return it to the supplier who delivered it in the last 90 days
  • Stop reordering what is still on an open purchase order

05Branch moves

Move slow stock to the branch where it sells

With two or more branches, the slow-stock page shows beside each product where it does sell: the rate there, the stock there, the days that lasts, and how many to move. The sending branch keeps what it still sells. One click makes the numbered transfer note.

  • “Create transfer” for one product, “Move all suggested” for a branch
  • The weekly alert says “3 products could move to Karama”
  • Ask your shop: “what should I move to Karama?”
  • In CreekPOS Online; the desktop program has one stock per shop

Plain answers

What it is, and what it is not

  • The cost-rise warning, slow stock and branch moves are plain arithmetic on your own figures: no AI is involved.
  • Reading price lists uses the AI invoice reader, which is in pilot: ask us to switch it on.
  • The catalogue's names and categories come from an open database: check a product before you sell it.
  • Nothing changes a price by itself: you apply or keep every suggestion.

Questions about smart stock

Does CreekPOS change my prices when a cost rises?

No. It shows the margin you lose and the price that keeps your margin; you apply it with one tap or keep your price.

Is VAT counted in the margin?

No. Margins are worked out on the price without the 5 % VAT, because VAT is never profit. A suggested shelf price includes VAT when your prices do.

When is a product “slow”?

When it has stock and no sale for 45 days, or the number of days you choose between 7 and 365, per branch. A product that has just arrived gets its chance first.

How does the price list from a photo know my products?

The same way invoice reading does: by barcode, by the names that supplier uses (it learns them), and by name. Rows it is unsure of are marked for you to check, and nothing is written until you press Apply.

Where does the UAE catalogue come from?

From Open Food Facts and its sister databases, open product databases built by volunteers. Product data: Open Food Facts, ODbL · Pictures: Open Food Facts contributors, CC BY-SA 3.0.

Can I move stock between branches without the suggestions?

Yes. Branch transfers work as before; the suggestions only fill the quantities for slow products and make the transfer note for you.
