Kitchen SLA Telemetry, PWA Digital Stamp & VIP Cards, and Recipe Stock Variance

Busy restaurants, cafés, pharmacies, salons, laundries, and supermarkets in the UAE run on tight turnarounds and thin margins. When a Friday dinner rush hits a restaurant in Jumeirah or Deira, two questions decide whether the night is profitable: how fast did tickets move from the kitchen screen to the table, and did the raw ingredients leaving the storeroom match the dishes rung up on the till?

This update brings Kitchen QA Prep-Stage SLA Telemetry, Waiter Tablet Ready-Bell & Table Turnaround Boards, Fractional Item Bill Splitting, Table QR Instant Pay & Instant Mobile Browser PWA Digital Stamp & VIP Cards, Recipe BOM Theoretical vs. Actual Stock Variance, Multi-Tier Price Lists & Call-Center Order Routing, five self-contained vertical engines, and two new read-only MCP tools (kitchen_staff_sla and recipe_stock_variance, bringing the total to 21 MCP tools) to CreekPOS Online.

1. Kitchen QA Prep-Stage SLA Telemetry & Staff Speed Leaderboards (kitchen_staff_sla)

Most kitchen display screens only show what is currently on the board. Once a ticket is bumped, the timing history disappears—leaving the owner guessing why table 12 waited 28 minutes for a mixed grill.

CreekPOS now records exact stage timestamps for every kitchen order from start to finish:

  1. Queued (order sent from the till, waiter tablet, or table QR)
  2. Preparing (chef taps to start cooking on the KDS)
  3. Ready (plated and waiting at the pass)
  4. Served (picked up by the waiter and delivered to the table)

You can set a target Prep SLA (in minutes) per dish or category. When a ticket exceeds its target, the KDS highlights the breach in real time. In the back office—and via the new kitchen_staff_sla MCP tool—you get a live Chef & Waiter Speed Leaderboard showing average prep minutes, pass-to-table pickup time, SLA compliance rate, and peak-hour bottlenecks.

2. Waiter Tablet Ready-Bell, Table Turnaround ("Needs Cleaning") Board & Fractional Bill Splitting

Three dining-room bottlenecks slow down table turnover during peak hours: food sitting under the heat lamp, hosts waiting to see if a vacated table has been wiped down, and groups asking to split a shared starter across separate cards.

  • Waiter Tablet Ready-Bell: The moment the kitchen marks a ticket Ready, an instant audio and visual Ready-Bell rings on the assigned waiter's phone or tablet with the table number and dish list.
  • Table Turnaround ("Needs Cleaning") Board: Tables now move through a clear 3-state lifecycle: Occupied → Needs Cleaning → Available. As soon as the bill is settled, the table switches to Needs Cleaning so bussing staff and the host stand see the exact status on one floor map.
  • Fractional Shared-Item Bill Splitting: Alongside split-by-seat and split-by-amount, cashiers and waiters can now split a single shared item—such as a family platter, shisha, or pitcher—into 1/2, 1/3, or N fractional shares across separate guest receipts without manual price math.

See all dining-room tools on the Cafés & Restaurants page and the full features list.

3. Table QR Instant Pay, Live Kitchen Tracker & Instant Mobile Browser PWA Stamp & VIP Card

Guests scanning the QR code on their table no longer just browse a static PDF menu:

  • Live Kitchen Status Tracker: After placing a table QR order, the guest's phone updates live as the kitchen advances their ticket (Order Received → In the Kitchen → Ready).
  • Instant Table Pay: Guests can settle the full table bill—or their split share—directly from the QR page on their phone, while the till and table map update automatically.
  • Instant Mobile Browser PWA Digital Stamp & VIP Card with Cashier QR: From the digital e-receipt or QR order confirmation screen, customers open their live PWA Digital Stamp & VIP Card directly in their mobile browser—with zero app store downloads and zero external certificate approvals. Each card displays their live stamp count, points balance, VIP tier, and a dynamic Cashier QR that the till scans in one tap on their next visit.

4. Recipe / BOM Auto-Deduction, Stock Variance (recipe_stock_variance) & Multi-Tier Price Lists

Linking a menu item to its Bill of Materials (BOM) deducts exact grams, milliliters, and packaging units from inventory on every sale—automatically adjusting when a customer chooses a large cup, extra shot, or oat milk modifier.

To catch hidden kitchen losses, CreekPOS now computes Theoretical vs. Actual Stock Variance:

  • Theoretical consumption: What your recipes and modifiers say should have been used across all sales and prep batches in the period.
  • Actual consumption: Opening stock + purchases & central-kitchen transfers − closing physical stock-take.
  • Variance in units and AED: Pinpoints unrecorded waste, over-portioning, or shrinkage item by item (coffee beans, cheese, cooking oil, meat cuts).
  • Multi-Tier Price Lists, Packaging Margin Guard & Call-Center Order Router: Run separate price lists for Dine-In, Takeaway, VIP Room, In-House Delivery, and Wholesale, deduct container and bag costs automatically in the Packaging Margin Guard, and route phone/WhatsApp orders to the nearest branch kitchen from a single Multi-Branch Call-Center Order Router.

With the new recipe_stock_variance MCP tool, you can ask Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini: "Which five raw ingredients had the highest stock variance in AED this week?" and get an instant, exact breakdown.

5. Five Self-Contained Vertical Engines: Lounges, Laundries, Salons, Coupon Books & Cold-Chain

Alongside restaurant and supermarket workflows, five specialized engines are built right into the counter with zero external dependencies:

  1. Hourly Table, Gaming Lounge & Minimum-Charge Timer (hourly-table-timer): Pro-rata per-minute billing with configurable grace periods, minimum charges, and food & beverage ordering on the same bill for billiard clubs, PlayStation lounges, board-game cafés, shisha VIP rooms, and karaoke booths.
  2. Laundry Conveyor & Electronics Repair Tag Tracker (garment-repair-tag): Prints waterproof garment tags and repair device serial/IMEI labels, tracks conveyor/rack slot numbers, logs inspection notes, and sends WhatsApp Ready-for-Pickup alerts.
  3. Salon Multi-Chair Commission & Tip Split (stylist-commission): Assigns a different stylist, barber, or therapist to each service line on a single bill, splits percentage or flat commissions between primary stylists and assistants, and distributes tips accurately.
  4. Prepaid Digital Coupon Book (coupon-book): Sell prepaid bundles (such as "Buy 20 Water Gallons, Get 3 Free", "10 Car Washes", or meal plans) and redeem units in one tap by phone number or customer QR with the remaining balance printed on every receipt.
  5. Cold-Chain Log & 1-Click USB Flash Backup (cold-chain-log & backup-manifest): Log morning, afternoon, and evening fridge/freezer temperatures for Municipality and MoHAP inspections (cold-chain-log), and write an encrypted, SHA-256 verified local snapshot of your shop database to a USB flash drive at shift close (backup-manifest).

6. Pharmacy FEFO Substitutes, Smart Auto-PO, Supplier RTV, Central Kitchen & Power BI (HH:mm)

Across retail, pharmacy, supermarket, and multi-branch operations, nine additional upgrades are live today:

  1. Power BI Live Feed & Multi-Format Datetime (HH:mm) Exports: Connect Microsoft Power BI or Excel directly to your shop's token-protected live feed, or export CSV/XLSX reports with clean date and HH:mm timestamp columns for hourly heatmaps.
  2. Pharmacy FEFO & Active-Ingredient Substitutes: Enforces strict First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) lot picking with cart expiry warnings, and shows 1-tap active-ingredient / generic substitutes when a requested brand is out of stock.
  3. Supermarket BOGO, Mix-and-Match & Happy-Hour Promos: Run Buy-X-Get-Y (BOGO), mix-and-match family bundles, and scheduled happy-hour price windows verified at the till and server.
  4. Central Kitchen Commissary Requisitions & Production Batches: Branches send internal requisitions to your central kitchen or warehouse; production batches roll up raw-material costs and dispatch finished prep stock in one workflow.
  5. Supplier RTV (Return-to-Vendor) Claims & Debit Notes: Record damaged, short-shipped, or near-expiry deliveries into formal RTV claims that deduct lot inventory and supplier payables automatically.
  6. Smart Auto-PO Reordering: Generate ready-to-send supplier Purchase Orders in one click from low-stock thresholds and sales velocity, grouped by preferred vendor.
  7. Conflict-Free Barcode Minting: Mint internal EAN-13 or Code-128 barcodes for unlabelled items individually or in bulk—guaranteed never to collide with manufacturer barcodes or weighing-scale prefixes.
  8. Go-Green Paperless Receipts: Skip thermal paper printing whenever a customer prefers a WhatsApp, SMS, or on-screen QR digital tax receipt.
  9. Auto-Clock-In on POS Sign-In: Optionally clock staff into the attendance log automatically the moment they sign into the till with their PIN or card.

7. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to All 21 Read-Only MCP Tools
