Instalments
Choose the appropriate workspace and branch. Your plan, enabled modules and team permissions determine which actions are available.
All three are in CreekPOS Online from the Retail plan. The desktop program has the stamp card and the credit book from version 5.6: see the desktop section.
The credit book
Open Settings → Credit book (a manager), tick Credit book and reminders, and set the terms (days to pay), an optional default credit limit (warn or block a sale on account over it, offline too) and the payment details customers see (bank, IBAN, free text). Then Customers → Credit book lists everyone who owes you: how much, since when, how late and what was promised. Each customer can get a private link to their own statement; it needs your shop's public address (the same as the online menu's).
Reminders
Tick Prepare reminders every day and choose the rhythm (days before, on the day, every few days late, stop after a number of reminders), the minimum amount, quiet hours and the channels. E-mails go by themselves. WhatsApp reminders wait on Customers → Reminders to send: the cashier taps once per customer and the message opens on the shop's own phone. A daily note can go to you by Telegram or e-mail. Reports → Collections shows what came in.
Instalments and deposits
Open Settings → Instalments and switch it on; set whether a stated mark-up is allowed (off by default) and the most instalments in a plan. At the till, with the customer chosen, press Credit → Instalments / deposit: type the down payment, the number of instalments, weekly or monthly, and the first due date. The receipt is a normal invoice for the full amount; the schedule prints after it. Payments are taken on the customer's page (oldest instalment first, part payments allowed).
A deposit is held for the customer, not counted as a sale; it shows on its own line on the X / Z and is used first on the final sale. Paying a deposit back needs a manager. The Instalments page lists what is due this week and what is overdue.
The stamp card
Open Settings → Stamp card (managers) and tick Switch the stamp card on: the stamps that fill the card (9 = the 10th is free), what earns a stamp (a visit above an amount, or items in chosen categories), an optional cap per receipt, the reward text and an expiry. Print the counter sign with its sign-up QR. Customers scan the QR on their receipt, or the counter sign, and keep the card on their phone; no app. At the till a Stamp card box under the customer shows the stamps and a Give the reward button.
The stamp card in the phone's wallet
Coming soon: the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet buttons are not switched on yet. The stamp card itself works today on its card page.
Under the stamp card on the customer's card page, two buttons put the card in the phone's wallet: Add to Apple Wallet and Add to Google Wallet. The pass shows the stamps, the points (when loyalty points are on), the reward, the rule and the code the cashier scans, as a QR, with a link back to the card page. It updates itself after every visit. There is no app and no login, and the link carries nothing of the customer's phone number.
The buttons appear once wallet passes are switched on for CreekPOS; there is nothing to set in your shop, and until then the card page works as before. The pass is in the language of your online pages and carries your shop's name and logo. It is on every plan that has the stamp card.
Stamp card and credit book on the desktop
Both are in the desktop program from version 5.6.
The stamp card (Gold package and up). In Settings → Loyalty points, the Stamp card block: tick Switch the stamp card on and set the stamps that fill the card, a stamp per visit (from a minimum amount) or per item (the categories that count), the reward in words, the expiry and whether the receipt prints the stamps. These are the same settings as online, so a shop that moves online keeps its rule. At the till the customer's button shows the stamps; the points history has a Stamp card button with the stamps, their history, Give the reward and, for a manager with a reason, Correct the card. The receipt prints Stamps: 5 of 9 and, when the card is full, Reward ready. Giving the reward needs the right to discount over the cashier's cap, or a manager. A void or a return takes its stamps back.
The credit book (Silver package and up). In Settings → Features tick Credit book and reminders, then Credit book settings… for the terms, the shop's credit limit (warn or block at the till), how customers can pay, the daily list and quiet hours. Credit book on the top bar shows who owes you, the overdue amounts and their age (0–30, 31–60, 61–90 and over 90 days), with filters and print, Excel or CSV. On a customer's page: their open items and history, Send on WhatsApp, a note, Promised to pay on…, their own limit and terms (managers), Take a payment and the printed statement. The limit is checked when the cashier presses On credit. The reminders list is made when the Credit book opens, once a day, or at once with Build today's list now; the cashier sends each reminder from WhatsApp on that PC.
What the desktop does not do: the stamp card has no card page, no QR on the receipt and no wallet pass; there are no e-mail reminders, no statement link for the customer and no daily note to the owner, because these need CreekPOS Online's public address and mail. The credit book is kept on the main till, and a second linked till keeps its own stamps for now.

Online · Instalments
Every instalment overdue or due in the next seven days, with the customer's phone.
Deposits are held for the customer until they are used on the final sale or paid back; they are not sales.
Online · Instalments and account
A payment pays the oldest instalment due first; part payments are fine. A card payment is not counted as drawer cash.
Paid instalments stay as they are; what is left is spread again from the first due date.

Sell on a weekly or monthly schedule with a down payment, and take deposits on orders. Nothing shows at the till or in the menus until you switch it on.
Shows Instalments on the till's credit sale, the Instalments page under Customers and the deposits.
Off by default: a plan costs the customer the price of the goods only. When on, the cashier may state a fixed fee and / or a percentage of the part paid later; it is printed on the plan and added to the customer's account, not to the invoice.

Tax law usually treats money received before a sale as a payment on which VAT is due on the day you receive it. These settings decide how this shop handles deposits and the instalment mark-up.
Each deposit gets its own numbered tax invoice and its VAT counts in the period you received it. The final invoice deducts it, so VAT is never counted twice. Deposits taken before you switch this on stay as they were.
These are tax decisions. Confirm them with your tax adviser. · Instalments and deposits · Most instalments in a plan · VAT on deposits and instalments · Deposits and VAT: please choose · Charge VAT when a deposit is taken · VAT on the instalment mark-up · Part of the price: VAT is charged on it (the safe choice) · VAT only on the part above the central bank's rate · Central bank credit-and-discount rate (% a year) · How deposits and VAT work · OK · Cancel
